The Six Principles seek to establish a process of continuous improvement among institutions of management education in order to develop a new generation of business leaders capable of managing the complex challenges faced by business and society in the 21st century. The Rio+20 Corporate Sustainability Forum is provides a venue for business, industry, students and investors to meet with governments, local authorities, civil society, and un entities – with over 2,000 participants expected. The Rio+20 Corporate Sustainabilty Forum is organized by the United Nations Global Compact. Focus of the Forum is Innovation and Collaboration for the Future We Want in Rio de Janeiro - held in cooperation with the Rio+20 Secretariat, the UN System and the Global Compact Local Network Brazil. The week-long Rio+20 Corporate Sustainability Forum will consist of dozens of highly focused workshops and thematic sessions linked to the Rio+20 agenda. Aarhus University is situated in the Dansih city of Aarhus. It is among the top 100 universities in the world. Founded in 1928 it has a long tradition of offering broad and internationally recognised research and education. The United Nations Rio+20 Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD) will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 20-22 June 2012. The Rio+20 Conference marks the 20th anniversary of the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED), in Rio de Janeiro, and the 10th anniversary of the 2002 World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) in Johannesburg. The Rio+20 Conference is envisaged as a Conference at the highest possible level, including Heads of State and Government and other representatives. The Conference will result in a focused political document. |
